User Agreement

This User Agreement governs your access to and use of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) website, services, learning platforms, and certification systems. By accessing or using IPS, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of this agreement, you must not use our services.

Definitions

“IPS”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the Institute of Professional Studies.

“User”, “you”, or “your” refers to any individual accessing or using IPS services.

“Services” include learning content, assessments, certification, and website functionality.

Access and Use

You agree to use IPS services for lawful purposes only and in accordance with this agreement. You must not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with system integrity.

IPS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach this agreement.

Learning Access

IPS provides free access to learning materials. Access does not guarantee certification. Certification is optional and subject to separate assessment and payment.

IPS may update or remove content at any time without notice.

Certification and Payments

Certificates are issued only after successful assessment and payment of applicable fees.

Program Certificates and Unit Certificates are separate products and must be purchased individually. Fees paid for one certificate type are not transferable to another.

All payments are final unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

IPS may change certification fees at any time.

Intellectual Property

All content on the IPS platform including text, videos, graphics, assessments, and certificates is owned by or licensed to IPS.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, resell, or exploit any content without written permission.

User Content

Any content you submit must not be unlawful, misleading, offensive, or infringe the rights of others.

IPS may remove any user content at its discretion.

Disclaimers

IPS does not guarantee employment, professional outcomes, or regulatory acceptance of any certificate.

Services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IPS is not liable for any loss, damage, or interruption resulting from your use of the platform.

Privacy

Use of IPS services is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Termination

IPS may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of this agreement.

Changes to This Agreement

IPS may update this agreement at any time. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Australia.
